"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.”

The Kataluma Adventure Community is an alternative to Facebook for those whose interest lies in advancing the Kingdom of God.
Membership is by invitation only, and new members must be referred by a fellow #7MCohort.
The purpose for our community is to ask and answer the questions:
Who are you?
What resources has God entrusted to your care?
What kind of resources do you need to fulfil the vision that God has also entrusted to your care?!
How can we come alongside to help you with the fulfillment of the vision as seen in God's Word to YOU?!
Your journey begins in main community room, known as...
The Kataluma Think Tank
Our mission is to define the sphere of your influence and favor, and help you connect with the tribe of fellow Kingdom Ambassadors who will become a part of the team you need to accomplish the tasks that require the talent and skills that God has entrusted to you.
We hope you will join U.S. in our quest to "Go Ye Therefore Together; As One New Man!"
I confess, I admit it... I'm addicted to crafting, creative writing, drawing, painting, and technology.
I love color and design, paint and pixels, pottery, clever wordsmithing, silk flowers, beautiful fabrics, and, well; you get the idea!
In the late 90's, I was hospitalized due to severe symptoms of undiagnosed mental illness, and was surprised to learn that art would play a significant role in my recovery process.
DID YOU KNOW?
Art therapy is one of the first classes of the day when you are hospitalized for mental health care...
WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?!
Kataluma Crafty was born from the lessons I learned while I was learning to take the reins of my thoughts, feelings, and behavior, so my passion for the arts has taken on new meaning since I learned to use it as part of my arsenal for engaging in good self-care.
I hope you will enjoy the process of artsy self-expression as we begin to talk about crafting for fun, crafting for emotional healing, and crafting for social causes at Kataluma Crafty!
Exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behavior can be an overwhelming process if you have experienced traumatic life events, and I personally believe that no one should have to face toxic or injured emotions alone.
Journaling also became part of my arsenal for mental health recovery, and I am happily engaged in establishing an artsy, crafty, intentional, strategic process for my journaling.
I love technology as much as I love the arts, so I was delighted to discover the online journaling software that makes it easy to share my instructional tools and ideas with others who feel the need to explore the ruins of their ancient emotions.
I am not a mental health care provider or art therapist, but I am a survivor of childhood sexual assault that led to homelessness.
As you can imagine, I am thrilled to have found life after mental illness, so it is my great delight to engage the arts for sharing details of the journey that taught me to cultivate a new way of feeling, thinking, and behaving.
My journaling group is a place to follow the path that was carved into my thinking lines as I discovered the many subtle nuances of God's Word to "Me."
