"Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed ?
For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53: 1-5
"Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout , behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. And they remembered his words." Luke 24:1-8

Visit often to follow along the Bible trail that taught me how to overcome the old church rules that nearly wrecked my life! Life is much more fun when you get over the rigors of religion and step into the grace notes of God. I'll share my notes with you as this site continues to grow.
I recommend a journal, a Bible dictionary, a hot cup of tea; and a quiet place to relax while you read and dig into the pages of the book that will change your life.
I enjoy online Bibles for speedy reference, but for developing an intimate understanding of the Bible, I recommend hands on reading.
P.S. That "journal" will probably turn into many journals, so plan ahead!
